School…
It’s been a minute (again..)! The last time I updated the blog was March, which was before the hectic month of April. Everything went alright with the comeptitions (excluding DECA to be honest), it was overall pretty fun. I was so incredibly burnt out returning back home that I really struggled still having motivation to study for tests and keep up with everything. Also, AP scores come out tomorrow!?!? I really only studied one day for the AP World exam so I woudn’t be suprised if I got a 4.
Kelly’s Goals for the 2023-2024 School Year (Completed):
Finish the wrestling season.Do not quit!- Technically I didn’t quit, so maybe? I got kicked out the very last week of the season because of too many absences. 😭
Mantain a 4.0 GPA.- You cannot do bad on another chemistry test, again.
- I did bad again…but still got that 4.0!!
- You cannot do bad on another chemistry test, again.
Go to Worlds for VEX.- Two time world qual! Got second in State, won skills champion and excellence.
Go to ICDC for DECA.- Fourth in State! I was suprised I even placed at SCDC. I was talking to these two girls before the test and they were saying that they wanted to be accountants and are taking college level accounting courses 😭.
- Meet new people and try new things.
- I feel like I’m getting better with opening myself up, but It could still take some work.
- Kinda folded a bit at ICDC, but I’ve been doing okay. I don’t think this one can be crossed out, though.
- Become a better writer.
- Did not happen.
- Be happy.
- Do well at ICDC.
- Get a medal for high test score
- LMAO. Definitely did not happen.
- Do well at Worlds.
- Get a award maybe? Meet cool teams and learn new things!
- Placed fine in quals, didn’t win anything, though.
- Hold a conversation with her for 2 minutes.
- RIP 🗿
- I’m over it!!
Reflection
Over all, I think this year was really valuable. I grew a lot, in good and bad ways, but I’m happy with everything that I accomplished. If I could sum up this one school year in one word, it would be opening. I feel like I really opened up, socially and academically.
