Description
A huge part of VEX Robotics other than engineering is programming. As a programmer, I use C++ to code user control, which allows my teammate to drive the robot, as well as an autonomous period. Like the name suggests, this autonomous period has no feedback from other people, the robot drives on it’s own relying on pre-written code.
Conclusions
- Created effective robot autonomous routes for VRC competitions.
- Wrote a PD (proportional & derivative) controller for consistent robot movement.
- Won Judges award at the Missouri State Championship.
